Health guidance for hot weather, dry conditions, and haze
Malaysia is currently experiencing the Southwest Monsoon season, bringing prolonged hot weather, low rainfall, and haze.
Hot weather
High temperatures can cause heat exhaustion, dehydration and fatigue. Stay cool, drink plenty of water and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
Dry conditions
Dry weather can cause dry skin, irritated eyes and respiratory discomfort. Keep your environment moisturized and drink plenty of water.
Haze pollution
Haze can worsen asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory conditions. Reduce outdoor activities when API is high and wear a mask when necessary.
